Host A Swab Drive
Whether you’re organizing a swab drive in your community or on your campus, EYT makes it easy to coordinate the event. EYT team members are available every step of the way to provide support and ensure you have all the necessary materials for a successful swab drive.
Responsibilities of the drive leader/coordinator?
- Serve as the central point of contact to organize and facilitate the drive.
- Recruit friends and volunteers to assist on the day of the event.
- Determine the ideal day, time, and location for the drive.
- Schedule a kickoff meeting with the team of volunteers to coordinate efforts.
- If required, secure approval from campus or location administration.
- Promote event using marketing materials provided by EYT.
- Ensure all registration materials, including swab samples, are returned promptly.

EYT is committed to inspiring your team of volunteers and ensuring a successful drive. A dedicated member of Earl Young’s Team will work with you to organize the drive and provide all the necessary resources, including digital content, print materials, and videos. These assets will help you enlist, educate, and motivate volunteers, promote the drive to both internal and external audiences, and register potential lifesavers on the day of the event.

Earl Young’s Team travels throughout the country to numerous college campuses, churches and other events in order to provide an opportunity for as many people as possible to get swabbed and join the bone marrow donors worldwide database.
